The Pedagogical Section is a department of the School of Spiritual Science at the Goetheanum and has a free relationship with all pedagogical institutions working on an anthroposophical basis.
The Pedagogical Section has the task of researching and developing anthroposophically inspired pedagogy. In doing so, it is a great concern to set new impulses and to support colleagues in their daily work. This task is carried out in dialogue with the Waldorf Steiner schools and their organs worldwide.
The income of the Section is mainly made up of donations from institutions and foundations. A large amount comes to us from the German Waldorf schools through the Federation of Independent Waldorf Schools in Stuttgart. Other funds, including school contributions, reach us through individual federations, associations etc. from the worldwide school movement. Furthermore, general donations are received for the Section as well as donations for special projects. A small part of the income is generated by the Section through conferences, seminars at schools and lectures.
