As part of the lecture series «Celebrations of a Humanistic Pedagogy», another episode on Steiner's educational courses from 1924 took place on 17 April 2024.
The fourth part of our lecture series «Celebrations of a Humanistic Pedagogy» took place in connection with our Goetheanum Worldwide Teacher Education Conference 2024. This time, the focus was on the lectures given by Rudolf Steiner in Bern from 13 to 17 April 1924. They were published in GA 309 under the title: «The Roots of Education».
Peter Selg spoke about the historical context of these lectures and Constanza Kaliks about their pedagogical significance today.
