How can Waldorf education help youth who are the first fully digital generation to cope with the challenges of a fast-changing world? And what does this ask from their teachers? This is an invitation to all Steiner Waldorf teachers from grade 7 to 12 and students in grades 11-12. Join the online meetings to explore the possibilities you have in Steiner Waldorf upper schools.
The project «UPSWE»: Upper School, a Place for Self-Development – is creating a space for teachers and students to meet, discuss, get and share ideas and good practice. The organisers aim to build a European network of teachers where participants can zoom out of their daily routines and find new, inspiring ideas for their work.
During the online meetings they are inviting class 11 and 12 students to share their experiences of Steiner Waldorf education, their worldviews and their thoughts on the needs of the curriculum for the future generation. It is meant to be an opportunity for students to get to know each other and learn from other contexts.
In each meeting there will be a keynote talk, discussion and sharing, and a touch of artistic work. The last two online sessions take place between 14h00 and 17h00 CET on:
