A child is best prepared for a healthy and successful school experience when they can engage in discovery and learning with joy and confidence. A harmonious and robust development of the physical foundations during the first seven years of life provides the best basis for this. In addition to general laws of physical development, every child has their own unique, individual developmental rhythm. Similar obstacles to early development can be observed worldwide, impairing students’ learning ability and emotional health as they grow; there are also very specific, individual developmental challenges.
Many children and adolescents need support to develop their abilities. Rudolf Steiner offered guidance on how to identify developmental gaps and delays and how to make learning an experience once again.
