Parents, educators and teachers need to adapt constantly to the ever-changing regulations brought in to combat Covid-19. Proven methods and important content can suddenly no longer be delivered. This contribution proposes that one particular maxim of Waldorf Education is vital in this situation: to educate young people towards freedom, equality and solidarity. For, are not these precisely the values that are under threat in the current crisis?
