Karoliina Kuismin

My name is Karoliina Kuismin. I am a mother of two and a special education teacher deeply committed to Steiner pedagogy. I graduated as a class teacher from the Freie Hochschule Stuttgart in 2003, and since 2011 I have been working at the Tampere Steiner School as a special education teacher in early childhood and lower primary education.

In my work, it is essential to me that every pupil is met with respect and acceptance — truly seen for who they are. I believe that compassionate, individualized teaching lays the foundation for learning and for the child’s overall well-being.
