Linda Williams

Dr. Linda Williams has been a Waldorf educator for over 30 years serving as both a class teacher, mentor, and teacher educator. She now serves as the Grades Coordinator at Detroit Waldorf School in Detroit, Michigan and is a member of the North American Pedagogical Section Council. 

Williams received her M.A. in Waldorf Education from the Waldorf Institute of Mercy College and her PhD in Curriculum, Teaching, and Educational Policy from Michigan State University. She has taught curriculum development, literacy development and educational philosophy at the Waldorf Teacher Development Association, the University of Detroit Mercy, and Eastern Michigan University.

A founding member of Alma Partners, Dr. Williams' current research interests include diversity, equity, and inclusion in Waldorf education, and anthroposophical biography studies. She serves on the boards of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA), the Detroit Waldorf School, Sunbridge Institute, and the Center for Biography and Social Arts.

Dr. Linda Williams ist seit über 30 Jahren Waldorfpädagogin und hat sowohl als Klassenlehrerin, Mentorin und Lehrerausbilderin gearbeitet. Heute ist sie Koordinatorin für die Klassenstufen an der Detroit Waldorf School in Detroit, Michigan, und Mitglied des North American Pedagogical Section Council. 

Williams erhielt ihren M.A. in Waldorfpädagogik vom Waldorf Institute of Mercy College und ihren Doktortitel in Curriculum, Unterricht und Bildungspolitik von der Michigan State University. Sie lehrte Lehrplanentwicklung, Alphabetisierung und Bildungsphilosophie an der Waldorf Teacher Development Association, der University of Detroit Mercy und der Eastern Michigan University.

Dr. Williams ist Gründungsmitglied von Alma Partners und ihre aktuellen Forschungsinteressen umfassen Vielfalt, Gerechtigkeit und Inklusion in der Waldorfpädagogik sowie anthroposophische Biographiestudien. Sie ist Mitglied im Vorstand der Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA), der Detroit Waldorf School, des Sunbridge Institute und des Center for Biography and Social Arts.
