From 20 September 2022, the second lecture series «Waldorf Work in Progress – Perspectives of a Modern Education» of the International Campus Waldorf (ICW) will start. Until 6 December 2022, twelve lecturers will give lectures in English every Tuesday from 7.30 pm to 9 pm on Zoom.
According to the ICW, today's children are growing up in a very different world. With globalisation, Waldorf education is also advancing into other cultural circles. The social and economic challenges, but also the conditions of consciousness have changed greatly. Questions around these topics as well as the perspectives of modern education will be reflected on at the lecture series.
The online platform ICW is an academic network created by the Alanus University of Arts and Social Sciences for future and existing Waldorf teachers and interested parties. As a «global classroom», the ICW wants to show the worldwide diversity of Waldorf education. In addition, experiences are to be shared and new contacts are to be made. Because, according to the ICW, Waldorf education remains in constant movement and change – in a permanent «(Waldorf) Work in Progress».
